We employ a wide range of techniques for each individual client, all based on the slow, controlled movements underpinning a Pilates Philosophy. Our page What is Pilates? will explain this in a little more detail but below you'll find a brief explanation of some of the services we can offer.
We believe that for a client to progress and to remain motivated to practice the exercises which will improve their quality of life, that a "one-size fits all" approach of general teaching is not appropriate.
No two clients are the same, and we ensure that all the exercises and programmes that we prescribe are put together specifically for you.
We will focus specifically on your needs and what it is that you need to achieve, whether it is increased mobility, core strength, flexibility, balance or a mixture of them all.
We will listen to what you can do, what you would like to do and what you really don't fancy doing, and will use all our experience and expertise to create something special for you.
Before any course of exercises starts we will meet with you and will listen to you and to what it is that you want to achieve so that we can gain an understanding of what we can do to help, and, of course, for you to decide if we are right for you.
This meeting can be face to face, or by Skype if you prefer, and we never charge for it.
We are able to tailor all our services for small, intimate groups, particularly for mobility and posture related exercises.
It is more complicated to develop the very specific exercises that some clients need in a group setting, and client confidentiality is of paramount importance to us. However, we do understand that being with a group of friends who understand and support each other can provide welcome reassurance and make the whole experience more enjoyable.
We hope that you'll find the answers to many of your questions on our website. Do get in touch with us if you have anything you would like to ask.
